Peter
Oulton

Peter
received his Diploma of Interior Design with highest honours at Algonquin
College, Ottawa, and received the Peter C. Huggett memorial award for academic
excellence in his graduating year.
Peter is a Design Partner with Oulton & Devine working in all aspects of the
exhibit design, graphic design, technical drawings and specifications, project
management, and animation. Prior to co-founding
Oulton & Devine, Peter's
experience was developed as
a designer working with the Canadian Government Exposition & Audio Visual
Centre (CGEAVC) as a member of the European Tradeshow Design Group, the Federal
Presence National Exhibit Program and Expo'88
in Brisbane, Australia
Peter has designed museum exhibits and interior displays for such clients
as the Canadian War Museum, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Canadian
Museum of Nature, the National Museum of Science and Technology, Founders'
Hall in Charlottetown, PEI and most recently, the multimedia theatre at the
Grand Pre Visitor Centre in Nova Scotia.
Peter has created numerous pavilion designs for the Canadian Government as
well as for the private sector. He has co-designed a wide variety of tradeshow
exhibits for Canada at shows around the globe -
such as CeBIT (Hanover, Germany); Globe (Vancouver, Canada) and Foodex (Tokyo,
Japan); and more recently SIAL 2003-2004
(Paris, France); ANUGA 2003 (Cologne, Germany); Tokyo Motor Show 2003 (Japan);
and the Federal government's
2001-2002
National Exhibit Program.

Janet A. Devine
BA, Psych.
Janet received her Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University in Ottawa, and
has applied her educational training directly to exhibit design concerning
the behaviors of exhibit visitors and their reactions and relationships within
various environments. Janet also has
training in exhibit design, interior design, project management and business
administration.
Janet is a Design Partner with Oulton & Devine working in all aspects
of the exhibit design, graphic design, technical drawings and specifications,
3d modeling, project management, web design and business administration.
Prior to co-founding Oulton & Devine, Janet's
operational experience was developed working with the facilities management
department at Algonquin College, Ottawa.
Janet was design director of Founders'
Hall Interpretive Centre, in Charlottetown, PEI, which opened in 2001; and
more recently, for Mission: Possible in 2003, the last temporary gallery at
the Canadian War Museum on Sussex Dr. Janet has been involved in the design
of museum exhibits and interior displays for the Canadian War Museum, the
Canadian Museum of Civilization, and the Canadian Museum of Nature.
Janet has designed private sector exhibits for such clients as JetForm (Adobe),
FastLane, and Corel Corporation; and she has co-designed
numerous government pavilions such as the Tokyo Motor Show 1997-2001(Japan);
CeBIT (Hanover, Germany); the Federal government's
2000-2001
National Exhibit Program; as well as an international award winning traveling
exhibit for Transport Canada in 2000.
