The Doukhobors: Spirit Wrestlers

This 4000 sq ft temporary exhibit featured a 20 seat theatre; showcases to display farm implements, furniture, textiles and clothing; as well as a variety of graphic treatments such as the 9M long interactive timeline.

Other features of the exhibit included the recreation of a Doukhobor porch, a scale model of a Doukhobor village and interactive modules that had flip pages, movable demonstration pieces, discovery drawers, and illustrations focussing on Doukhobor traditional life involving the crafts, family ties, skills and diet of the Doukhobors.


Oulton & Devine was responsible for the design of all exhibit components, production drawings, graphic design & digital layouts and installation supervision.
