Canadian War Museum - Ottawa, ON


Oulton & Devine Inc. is currently in the process of completing the design of this final permanent gallery space within the Canadian War Museum which will be an intimate space where visitors will be able to gain insight into the daily lives of Canadian Peacekeepers stationed in Cyprus.


The exhibit area is divided into three zones: a mock-up of an Observation Post highlights the peacekeepers’ duties while on watch, a graphic wall display (shown above) with showcases recount the tension during the Turkish Invasion, and a street-scape recreation of a Cyprus café provides seating for visitors to listen to audio clips, watch a video or discover artifacts and other items in the table top displays.
