Peter was born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and has lived most of his life in Ottawa, ON. He graduated from the Advanced Interior Design Program at Algonquin College in 1988 and won a project design competition in his graduating year. He also received the Peter C. Huggett award for academic excellence.

Peter interned with the Canadian Government Exposition Centre and learned valuable skills from a variety of designers, managers and production staff over the years, many of whom continue to be excellent associates. He was fortunate to work on feature projects such as the Canada Pavilion at the World Expo in Brisbane, Australia and the Bravo Canada and European trade show programs. While Peter was developing his design and detailing skills, he was able to watch and learn fabrication techniques from master craftsmen/women. He also learned firsthand the many details required for on-site supervision and installation in foreign countries.

In 1992, Peter and his design partner joined forces and have been designing exhibits together for national museums, interpretive centres, national and international trade shows and local events. He has a calm and humorous side which helps keeps the fun in and the stress out of projects!

Janet brings an organized approach to each design project to ensure we follow project scopes and budgets. Her strengths lie in thematic planning, developing conceptual designs and making sure we stay on target with our clients's requirements and vision. She has a keen eye for scale, proportions, and colour and that same detailed approach is ideal for keeping track of hundreds of artifacts, graphic panels, or system components by means of the custom Excel spreadsheets she creates. This same attention can be seen when she is preparing hundreds of graphic panels for proofing and production.

In 1992, Janet and her design partner joined their talents and have been designing exhibits together ever since. Janet's ability to focus on a client's vision and create a concept from the interpretive plan has been instrumental in delivering our most successful projects. Janet combines her artistic talents with her logical and analytical thinking when she's working on 3d renderings and detail drawings. Her quick wit and organizational skills keep projects fun and on track.

Janet was born and raised in Ottawa, ON. She graduated from Carleton University with a BA in Psychology in 1989, worked at the Royal Ottawa Hospital and later the Facilities + Planning department at Algonquin College. Janet has always been responsible for the financial aspects of O+D projects and has recently added bookkeeping services for small and mid-sized local businesses to the company.
